Not that he wasn't already, but to clear things up once and for all with Marvel's own Captain, DC considered it for the best. The wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles, and the speed of Mercury. Or something like that.
