DC thinks it’s pushing the envelope by making its newest Green Lantern an American Muslim. I wasn’t going to say anything, but then I started reading the comments on the web… “Is Muslim Green Lantern going to stone gay Green Lantern to death?”

But the real question is, how come that darn space ring can only pick American males to yield its powers? And does he have to be masked and holding a gun?

CNE 2012

Speaking of Canadiana, this week marks the end of the CNE - the annual Canadian National Exhibition - and incidentally the end of summer in Toronto. Some moments from this year's EX.
