Lady Gaga's tears

Does anybody really believe them? Ms. Germanotta is creative (if derivative; see: Truth or Dare), but not a very good actor.

New green trailer

A longer trailer for Green Lantern shows a little more of Oa, and alien lanterns.

Canada's club scene

I keep seeing more and more very direct jabs at Canada about seal-killing in the North. I'm not sure if they're the best spokespeople for the cause, but Ke$ha and Iggy Pop are throwing in their two cents for Peta.
And Canadian artist Jonathan Hobin, on a series of photographs that depict children re-enacting gruesome real-life events, had this to say:

Jacket for Japan

The Pet Shop Boys put the Rubik’s Cube jacket worn by Chris in the Pandemonium Tour for bids on Ebay. It sold for US$1,553.50 and 100% of the proceeds benefit the Red Cross Japan relief.

You and I

Can't George Michael stop embarrassing himself?
After an egregious version of New Order's True Faith, he now delivers a bland and cheesy cover of Stevie Wonder's You and I which he offered as a gift to the British Royal Wedding circus. Good thing this "gift" is available to download for free.

Flip-flop recyling

Flip-flop sandals that get washed way in the coast of West Africa get a new life by Netherlands- based designer Diederik Schneemann, who recycles them into funky household items.

Volvo

Very cool Volvo commercial.

Take That PSB

The Boys announced they'll be playing opening act to Take That's reunion tour this May and June in Ireland and the UK.Their show's supposed to be a mini Pandemonium, and Robbie Williams will also sing his solo material. As Neil put it, he looks forward "to every night being a huge celebration of pop music."
I don't know. I know it's different in the UK, but isn't it a bit like opening for NKOTBBSB?
